Roll Over
One Elephant
There were 10
in the bed (hold up 10 fingers)
One elephant went out to play, (hold up 1 finger)
And the little
one said (wiggle pinky)
Upon a spider’s web one day (make
spider with fingers)
Roll over!
Roll over! (roll hands)
He had such enormous fun
(stretch arms out wide)
So they all
rolled over and one fell out
That he called for another elepant to come
(drop hand to floor)
(wave hand to self “come here”)
There were 9
in the bed…
Two elephants …. (keep counting as far as you can go)
(repeat above from 9 down to 1)
…They had such enormous fun (stretch arms out wide)
And the little
one said…
But there were no more elephants left to come
Alone at last!
(stretch arms out wide)
(shrug shoulders, shake head “no”)
Five
Little Monkeys
Where are the Bees?
Five little
monkeys jumping on the bed
Here is a beehive
(make a fist)
(bounce fingers on opposite palm)
But where are the bees? (shrug shoulders)
One fell off
and bumped his (or her) head
They’re hiding inside (point to fist)
(tap head)
Where nobody sees
Mama called
the doctor and the doctor said...
Soon they’ll come out of their hive
(pretend to talk on the phone)
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 (open fist one finger
at a time)
"No more
monkeys jumping on the bed!"
Buzzzzzzzzzzzzz! (fly fingers around and tickle a friend)
(shake index finger)
also…
5 little monkeys sitting in a tree,
teasing Mr. Crocodile, “Can’t catch
me!”
Along came Mr. Crocodile, quiet as
can be,
And SNAP!…(clap hands once loudly)
4 little monkeys…
