Jack in the Box
     - thud, thud, thud, thud                                                          Jack in the box,     (curl child up)
Here goes a snake up the hill                                                      Lying so still.
     - slither, slither, slither, slither                                                Won't you come out?
Here comes a rock down the hill                                                 Yes I will! (lift child up / child jumps up)
     - boom, boom, boom, boom
               (jump your fist down child’s arm)                                  
The Seesaw   (lift child up and down)
CRASH! (land fist in child’s open palm)                                        The seesaw goes up, the seesaw goes down.
                                                                                                        Seesaw up, seesaw down.
Roly Poly                                                                                 Seesaw stops, one end on the ground.
      
(Roll hands round each other, in direction named)
Roly poly, roly poly, up, up, up,                                                   Dickery Dare
Roly poly, roly poly, down, down, down;                                       Dickery, dickery, dare    (bounce child on knees)
Roly poly, roly poly, out, out, out,                                                The pig flew up in the air    (lift child up)

The Royal Duke of York                                               A Little Frog
         
(follow words moving body up or down)                   A little green froggie am I am I
Oh the royal Duke of York                                               A- Hippity, hippity, hop (bounce child on knees)
He had ten thousand men                                               I can jump in the air sooooo high (lift child)
He marched them up to the top of the hill                         A- Hippity, hippity, hop (bounce child on knees)
And marched them down again
And when they're up - they're up                                     
Grandpa’s Knees
And when they're down - they're down                              The wind blows down the chimney   (bounce gently)
But when they're only halfway up                                     The wind blows through the trees
They're neither up nor down                                             The wind blows (child’s name) up and down   (lift child up)
      - other verses:                                                         Upon her Grandpa’s* knees
They played their pipes to the top of the hill                                         (change to Mommy or Grandma or Daddy…)
They beat their drums to the top of the hill…
They waved their flags at the top of the hill...                    
Flying Man
- Make up your own!                                                       Flying man, flying man (bounce child on knees)
                                                                                   
Up in the sky   (lift child up)
Old Grey Mare                                                                         Flying man, flying man (bounce child on knees)
      (sing to "row row row your boat")                                Flying so high  (lift child up)
Clip, clip, clipety clop    (bounce child)                             Over the mountains (bounce child on knees)
Clipety, clipety, clop                                                       And over the sea (lift child up)
The old grey mare goes up and down                               Flying man, flying man (bounce child on knees)
       (lift child up and down)                                             Won't you take me? (give big hug)

Stepping Stones                                                          My hands upon my head I place,
Stepping over stepping stones,                                        On my shoulders, on my face,

On my lips, by my side,
