How the prizes are awarded
To
make our children’s reading program as fair and equal as
possible, children will be given prizes according to how much
time they have
spent reading or being read to.
The more they read, the bigger and better the prizes.

For each visit to the library where you present your reading record to be
checked, you
may choose one treat from
the treasure box.

At
5, 10, 20, 30, and 40 hours read
you will receive
a prize out of the display case
right away. No more entry slips to fill out! Think of all the trees we
will save!

When
you reach 25 hours read you will receive
an invitation to
the awards party on July 26th,
where you will be given your certificate.

If you read 50 hours or more,
you
will be automatically entered into
the grand prize drawing held on July 25th...again, no slips to fill out!
We
are confident that parents will help their younger children
choose
age-appropriate prizes from the selection offered.
