Join Chris Page, Owner and Sugar Artist at The Wicked Sugar Cake Studio as we discuss the basics of baking, covering and decorating cake. In this class, you’ll learn how to bake a great cake, make and color icing, and the best way to ice the cake. We’ll discuss American Buttercream (Wilton style) and make Swiss Meringue Buttercream and learn some basic borders, writing, drop flowers, leaves & ribbon roses,finishing this class by torting, filling, assembling and crumb coating cake in the Perry Senior Center kitchen. Chris is a Certified Wilton Method Instructor. Fee is $20 and due at the time of registration. Seating is limited. Registration will be closed 9/12/17. Cake Decorating Part 2 will be offered on 10/3/17. This program is in collaboration with the Perry Senior Center.
